On May 8 2020, the first QSO from HI was made between HI8DL and Angel, WP4G in Catano, Puerto Rico.
First mode used was JT65B. Another first was the following QSO on FT8 Mode.
QSO was made using IC-9700, 10 watts and M2 23cm35 35 Element Yagi
