On March 30 and 31, there was an Tropo opening to FL, USA. I was able to work K2IL and KW4BY.
This qso was featured on ARRL magazine "The World Above 50 MHz" article June 2020 edition.
There is a typo in the article with my callsign. It should be HI8DL and not HI3DL which does not exist. The author Jon Jones, N0JK has been notified.
Rig Used
IC-9700 4x9 M2 2M9 160W
FT-991 50W F9FT Tonna antenna 16 Element.
K2IL was decoded with both radios.
